As I stated before, 2012 is the Year of the FO and to get a jump on it I have been working feverishly! Here is today's FO for our lovely Miss Bailey June!
Now it's back to work...and what do I make for Miss Penny? Hmmm...

So what goals are you setting for 2012?
I am not one to make New Year's Resolutions but I make life goals. My life goals for 2012 are as follows:
In the area of personal health, I am jumping back on and staying on the weight loss and maintenance trail. My goal by my birthday is to lose 20 lbs./1 stone 6 lbs. and keep it off. Then go for another stone/14 lbs. beginning in August. All the while exercising at least 3 times per week. Me and my Wii Fit Plus are going to see alot of each other!
***And this isn't something I say I am going to do, I started this morning with 30 minutes of exercise and a Special K breakfast!*** Hurray for me!
Another personal health feat will be making sure I take regular time away from the work I do. I love it all but this year I found out that I hadn't taken enough holiday off. We get 20 days off a year, so my goal is to plan days away each quarter. With travel for the ministry and peak activity times that might not happen without careful planning so I will work the calendar now to make sure it is accomplished evenly. A sharping of the blade sort of thing!
In the area of crafts and hobbies, this is going to be a Stash Buster year! Watch out for the new designs in knitting, sewing and of course stamping that will result of using all the wonderful bits I have collected along the way.
In the area of personal growth, I will continue my bible study and hope to attend some conferences this year that focus on spiritual matters but also for my position of HR Manager, some mentoring, policy, etc. conferences. And as we have new staff coming on board and settling in some new countries, I hope to travel to see their new homes and see first hand the work they are doing there.
This year 2012 is full of potential! I am looking forward to all that I can be a part of! What is your number one goal for the new year?

All New for 2012
After much deliberation I have just decided to redesign my blog and move on to a new year.
This year's resolution, for lack of a better word, is to de-stash across the board of all my crafts and create some wonderful things for our home, our family and all of you we hold near and dear.
How best to do this but take care of the FO's around the craft shelves! And why wait for 2012? We are on our Christmas shutdown holiday so a-crafting I will go...
Here's a finished project from yesterday...
Ashamedly, I have to admit this has been in the works a long, long time but here it is My T-shirt made from Ribbon Yarn. And I have worn it out to a holiday luncheon already!
Another recently finished item went to one of our granddaughters with another one on the needles for her cousin also 1 year old in November. I love knitting these cute jumpers and cardigans for them all.
Well here is my fresh start at blogging...stay tuned to more in the future.
